MemoWizard processes audio recordings that you create in the app. These recordings are:

• Processed in the cloud for transcription and summary generation
• Stored locally on your device
• Deleted from our servers after processing is complete (typically within 24 hours)

You are responsible for ensuring that any recording made using MemoWizard complies with applicable law, including, where required by that law, providing notice to participants and obtaining any required consents, permissions, or other authorizations related to the recording of meetings and conversations.

1.2 Technical Data

We collect basic technical data, including:

• Device information (type, operating system)
• App usage data (features used, session duration)
• IP addresses (only for security purposes)

1.3 Account Data

If you want to use AI features like transcription, summaries or memos:

• Sharing credit balances between devices requires creating a MemoWizard account
• Creating an account only requires your email address, and you may use Apple's "Hide My Email" feature to stay anonymous

We also store information about your credit balance and communication preferences.

If you use iCloud synchronization features:

• Your recordings are synchronized through Apple iCloud
• We do not have access to your iCloud data
• Synchronization is subject to Apple's privacy policy

We use your data exclusively for the following purposes:

• Transcription and Analysis: Processing recordings to convert speech to text
• Summary Generation: Creating intelligent notes and summaries
• Service Improvement: Analyzing anonymous data to improve the app
• Security: Detecting and preventing abuse
• Communication: Sending occasional messages asking for feedback or filling out a survey.

MemoWizard does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• AI service providers who process recordings for transcription and their further processing (with appropriate safeguards)
• When required by law (e.g., court order)
• With your explicit consent

We implement the following security measures:

• Encryption for all data transmissions
• Secure servers with SSL certificates
• Limited data access to authorized personnel only

You have the right to:

• Access: Check what data we have about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data or your account using the "Delete Account" button in the app settings
• Consent: Withdrawal of consent to receive occasional messages asking for feedback or filling out a survey.

Your data is stored as follows:

• Recordings, transcriptions and notes: Locally on device, temporarily on servers + in iCloud (if sync enabled)
• Technical Data: Up to 2 years for analytical purposes
• Account Data: As long as your account exists

MemoWizard does not use cookies or tracking technologies. All data is processed locally or in secure cloud without user tracking.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through update to this page.

By using the MemoWizard app, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the app.
